(South Lake Tahoe, CA) – Barton Health welcomes audiologist Marina Mulvey, Au. D., to its Ear Nose & Throat Department, and Barton Audiology office. Dr. Mulvey’s expertise and scope of practice expands audiology care at Barton, as patients can now obtain hearing aids locally and not have to travel for these medical devices. Dr. Mulvey has more than 25 years’ experience dispensing hearing aids.
Audiologists specialize in health issues pertaining to hearing and balance. Audiology services at Barton for children and adults include hearing aid evaluations, consultations, dispensing, service and repair, as well as addressing hearing disorders, ear infections, balance issues, facial or cranial nerve disorders, and the management of congenital disorders of the outer, middle and inner ear.

Dr. Mulvey holds a California State License in Audiology, and is a California Children’s Services-paneled physician of 17 years. After completing her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from San Jose State University, Dr. Mulvey earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida.
An animal lover and avid skier, Dr. Mulvey shares that she has always wanted to live at Lake Tahoe and looks forward to standup paddle boarding, kayaking, fly fishing and enjoying year-round outdoor activities with her husband, Michael, and their dogs; chocolate Labrador, Rio, and Bloodhound, Lily. Dr. Mulvey volunteers for Canine Companions for Independence and is a member of the Northwest Bloodhounds Association.
