Barton Health Expands Care in Lake Tahoe, Welcomes New Gastroenterology Physician
(South Lake Tahoe, CA) – Barton Health welcomes Dr. Azadeh Brumand, Gastroenterology specialist, to Lake Tahoe. Barton Gastroenterology (GI) utilizes state-of-the-art technology in the field of endoscopy for patients in the Lake Tahoe region. The GI team assists and performs approximately 2,000 procedures annually.

Dr. Brumand joins us from Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. She earned her degree as a doctor of osteopathic medicine from Touro University in Nevada, and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Brumand is fluent in Farsi. When she’s not practicing medicine, her hobbies include cooking, running, swimming, and settling in for a great movie.

Dr. Azadeh Brumand joins Dr. Kimberly Evans, Dr. Dan Norman and Dr. William Reid Shepard in providing Gastroenterology services at 1139 Third Street in South Lake Tahoe. New patients are welcome.
