Barton Health Foundation Announces 2022 Mother's Day Golf Classic, Proceeds to Benefit Barton Oncology
(South Lake Tahoe, CA) – The Barton Health Foundation’s 2022 Mother’s Day Golf Classic will tee off on Sunday, May 8, at Edgewood Golf Course in Stateline, NV. Registration is open to the public and funds raised will benefit community members facing cancer through Barton Oncology. Barton Oncology provides support and education during cancer treatment and survivorship, offering lab work, radiographic tests, telemedicine visits, diagnostics, and infusion services.
“We look forward to getting community members together in the spirit of raising money to support the health and well-being of Lake Tahoe residents," said Melanie Turner, Chairman, Barton Health Foundation Board of Trustees. "The Golf Classic offers a unique opportunity to connect with others while raising funds for a great cause."
Registration for the Golf Classic includes green fees, a golf cart, a pre-round Bloody Mary or ‘Mom’-mosa, two drink tickets, and a “19th Hole” hosted awards ceremony where heavy appetizers will be served. Other prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and best score.
Registration is $300 per player; the group rate for a foursome is $1,200. Registration closes May 6 at noon.
Check-in and breakfast begin at 10:30 a.m. The tournament will have a shotgun start at noon.
