The facility earned Best Nursing Home status by achieving a rating of “High-Performing,” the highest possible rating, for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. The data used to evaluate facilities comes from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) and includes metrics of nurse staffing, COVID-19 staff vaccination rates, patient outcomes, facility complaints, patient safety and rehabilitation therapy. The U.S. News rating takes that data and measures the relationship between structure, process and outcomes to determine a measure of quality of care.
